SafeHarborCalc IRS § 1.263(a)-1(f) Engine

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 • Compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and Google AdSense Guidelines

1. Pure Client-Side Architecture

SafeHarborCalc is engineered as a static, client-side web application. All calculations, numbers entered, taxpayer names, itemized costs, and generated tax election statements are computed directly within your web browser’s memory using JavaScript. None of this financial data is ever collected, transmitted to remote servers, or stored in our databases.

2. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising

We may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and third-party advertising partners to keep this tool completely free:

  • Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on SafeHarborCalc.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

3. Cookies & Web Beacons

Like many websites, we may utilize standard web cookies to analyze site traffic, prevent fraudulent activity, and ensure reliable edge caching through Cloudflare Anycast CDN. You can control cookie preferences through your individual browser settings.

4. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

Under the CCPA, California consumers have the right to request disclosure of personal data categories collected and request deletion. Because SafeHarborCalc does not collect or sell personal consumer records, your data is inherently protected by default.
